Preface
Term 2 turns theory into practice. Topic 3 (Robotics) opens with algorithms — the ordered sets of steps that every robot follows — then walks through the 5-step Robot Design Cycle from defining a problem to testing a working prototype. Groups build a real robot from cardboard, Lego or recycled parts and evaluate it against their own design brief.
Topic 4 (System Administration & Documentation) trains students to keep the school lab running: diagnosing faults with Task Manager, Event Viewer and Device Manager, then writing the documentation (project plans, system docs, network diagrams and user help sheets) that lets a fellow tech pick up where they left off. Week 10 combines a written exam with a robot + documentation showcase.
